Caredoc's AI Engine Tackles Korea's Widening Elder Care Gap
SEOUL, South Korea — Caredoc, an integrated senior care startup based in South Korea, has entered its AI-powered caregiver-matching platform for consideration in the CES 2027 Innovation Awards. The platform is designed to close a widening gap in the country’s long-term care system: according to Caredoc’s Elder Care Gap Index, 89% of South Korea’s seniors are potentially at risk of long-term care gaps, driven by shortages of care workers and a fragmented service structure.
